National Polish Pharmaceutical Policy for 2018-2022
The strategic goals of the National Polish Pharmaceutical Policy are:
- Reducing the incidence of infectious diseases through effective preventive measures.
- Providing safe and effective medicines, available at the right place in the right time.
- Improving the health of the population by optimizing public spending to ensure the widest possible access to effective, safe and cost-effective therapies systematically.
- Strengthening and continuous development of the potential of the pharmaceutical sector in Poland.
- Obtaining the best health effect by rationalizing pharmacological treatment based on scientific evidence and clinical guidelines, effective supervision and effective cooperation between doctors and pharmacists.
- Systematic improvement of the effectiveness of the health care system in Poland and achievement of additional health results through the use of information systems.
