Adriana Malek, MSc – Project Manager, The Health Policy Institute, Regional Branch in Gdańsk

A graduate of the Medical University of Gdansk, where she studied public health with a specialization in management in health care systems.

During her studies, she did numerous internships and volunteering activities, e.g. National Health Fund in Gdansk and the Office of the Management Board of Copernicus Hospital. She has combined her professional career with the administration of scientific research in the field of medicine and health sciences, as well as with clinical trials. So far, she has worked as a research support specialist at the Medical University of Gdańsk, where one of her main duties was to support the implementation of the “Initiative of Excellence – Research University” program, also in a company providing laboratory services in the field of clinical trials. Then she worked at the Oncology Clinical Research Support Centre at the Institute of Hematology and Transfusion Medicine in Warsaw, where she gained experience as a coordinator of both commercial and non-commercial clinical trials.

At work, she values ​​the possibility of self-development and cooperation with people with a passion for the broadly understood health care system and scientific research.
